Ability to construct and implement marketing plans game day experience on-field promotions. Strong customer service, planning and writing skills are essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate public relations, marketing, and revenue generation skills to targeted audiences and understand the role social media plays in collegiate athletics. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Oversight of student-volunteer program, assisting with generating marketing/promotional efforts for Football aimed at enhancing the in-game experience for our fans: establishing effective on-campus marketing efforts aimed at increasing student attendance and other duties as assigned.īachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment or equivalent combination of training and experience. Assistant Director of Marketing will work directly with coaches, sport administrators and student-athletes on a regular basis before and during their respective seasons. The Assistant Director of Marketing will be primarily responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans for Baseball, Gymnastics and Volleyball programs aimed at generating revenue via ticket (where applicable), concessions and merchandise sales as well as increasing attendance at home contests. The Assistant Director of Marketing will support the marketing office in their efforts to generate revenue by enhancing the fan experience in effective and creative ways while advancing the Carolina Athletics brand.
